Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-06-12T06:53Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2025-06-12T06:53:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N30E30
Note Keyword:
COL: Possible collision with previous CME
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
GAP: Data gap
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
PEA: Post eruption arcade
FIL: Filament eruption
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
Note: Faint CME seen only to the north in STEREO A COR2 but covered by the data gap in SOHO and by the pylon in CCOR-1. Its source is likely the filament eruption on disk close to the northeast limb, with filamentary material seen lifting off of the northeast quadrant, close to the limb, centered at about N30E30, starting at 2025-06-12T05:19Z in SDO AIA 304, with the dimming seen in SDO AIA 193 and with ejecta and opening field lines both with northward deflection as seen in SDO AIA 171.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type |

An extremely uncertain one-coronagraph (STEREO A COR2) analysis based on the location of the possible source of this CME, the filament eruption. The CME front of this CME is only seen in a few early timestamps of STEREO A COR2 coronagraph, superimposed on the previous CME. The CME is not seen in other coronagraphs. |
